Met de Rotating Polypectomy Snare van Medi-Globe kan een poliep verwijderd worden uit bijvoorbeeld het maag-darmkanaal. Deze procedure wordt 'snare polypectomy' genoemd. De Rotating Polypectomy Snare is geschikt voor de 'hot-snare' techniek. Deze Polypectomy Snares zijn ovaal of hexagonaal gevormd, met meerdere draden (multifilament). Enkele modellen zijn uitgerust met een geïsoleerde tip, ter bescherming van het slijmvlies.

Deze Polypectomy Snares zijn 360° draaibaar, waardoor de poliep gemakkelijker te verwijderen is.
